Canada Post strike update
Alternative payment methods and online claims service
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), who work for Canada Post, have announced they will begin striking on a rotating basis on DATE. This means mail will still be accepted and delivered, but service levels will be impacted as the Canada Post workforce won’t be operating at full capacity. Wawanesa Life will operate as normal; however, we anticipate delays in sending and receiving mail. We understand you will be in the same position.
Please know Wawanesa online services, along with other methods of sending and receiving payment, are always available to use. Whether you are an Individual, Group member or both, find your alternative options on this page.
We will keep you informed as the situation evolves with any recommended actions you can take, as well as other important updates.
