Telemedicine
The workplace is more diverse than ever, with different needs and expectations from employees. At Wawanesa Life we recognize the importance of flexibility and peace of mind and we have partnered with Teladoc Health to provide access to Telemedicine for Plan Members and their eligible Dependents.
Telemedicine services allow Plan Members and their eligible Dependents to visit with a physician by phone or video for a broad array of episodic healthcare issues such as sinus problems, allergies, flu symptoms, rashes, pink eye, and more.
Services available include but are not limited to:
- Diagnosis
- Treatment recommendation
- Prescription of necessary medication
- On-demand consultations
Services are available in English and French, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Telemedicine is available to select Wawanesa Life plans and can be added on or off renewal.
